Lufttransport flies the public service obligation between Bodø Airport and Værøy Heliport with two daily round trips (one trip on Saturdays and Sundays) with an Agusta Bell AB139.
Baggage allowance is 20 kgs., including hand baggage. Overweight is accepted If there is capacity and is charged NOK 30.- for each kilo. Special baggage can be accepted and is charged NOK 350.- based upon capacity and acceptance from the operator. Bicycles are not allowed.
BODØ-check in at Wideroee. You have to be finished with check in and be in gate latest 30 minutes before departure. Make sure you arrive at the airport with enough time to check in, drop your baggage, go through the security control and to be at the boarding gate at time. VÆRØY- check in one hour before departure.
At the security control you must show a valid digital or printed boarding pass. Empty your pockets of mobile phone, watch, keys and coins before passing through. Small items can be placed in your carry-on bag, or jacket pocket. You are required to place items such as coat, laptop and plastic bags with liquids on a conveyor belt for X-ray scanning. You are only allowed to bring a limited amount of liquids through security.
